Dr. Dr. Dwight M. Nash

Dr. Dwight Nash was born in Ava, a small town in the Missouri Ozarks. Dr. Nash completed high school in Kansas City, Missouri and attended University of Missouri, Columbia campus. He graduated in 1977 with a BS in Agriculture and a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine Degree.

After completing Veterinary School, Dr. Nash and his wife Nancy moved to Jacksonville. He came to San Jose-Beauclerc Animal Hospital in 1987 after 10 years as an associate veterinarian. Dr. Nash purchased San Jose-Beauclerc Animal Hospital and Deerwood Animal Clinic in 1992.

Dr. Nash is a member of the Jacksonville Veterinary Medical Society, the Florida Veterinary Medical Association, and the American Veterinary Medical Association. He has worked with the Jacksonville Greyhound Track for over 35 years, and has served as their head veterinarian for over 20 years. Dr. Nash has received the Gold Star Award from the Florida Veterinary Medical Association in recognition for his contribution to the Veterinary Community. He has also received commendations for his work with the Jacksonville Humane Society and many pet rescue groups in Jacksonville.
